user data deletion

Delete your data
from CACHALOT

This page explains how to remove your account data and connected social tokens from CACHALOT, and how to check the status of a deletion request.

1. What CACHALOT stores about you

If you connected a social account (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, VK or Telegram) to CACHALOT, we store an OAuth access token, your public account identifier and username, and a log of the posts CACHALOT published on your behalf. We never store your password. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

2. Delete everything from inside the dashboard

Open the CACHALOT dashboard and press Disconnect next to the connected account. The access token is deleted from our database immediately, and CACHALOT can no longer publish anything on your behalf.

3. Revoke access on the platform side

4. Request full deletion by email

Write to [email protected] with the subject Data deletion and the username of the connected account. We delete all stored data — tokens, profile identifiers and publishing logs — and confirm by reply.

We process deletion requests within 30 days; in practice within a few working days. Server access logs containing IP addresses rotate automatically after 14 days.

5. What deletion does not cover

Posts that were already published to your own social account belong to that account, not to CACHALOT. Deleting your data here does not remove them — delete such posts in the social app itself.
